Emily was so excited to give back to her local hospital, the place where she was born and where they first diagnosed her with what would eventually become her journey with cancer. She gave 40 Christmas bears to help cheer each child admitted to the hospital throughout the Christmas season. The picture below is Emily at 10 months of age when here at Halifax they inserted the only IV they could place due to her dehydration. That IV lasted the entire stay at Arnold Palmer and we are so grateful to the wonderful drs and nurses that helped Emily that week get her to the appropriate place to get healthy.
